sustainable farming, Slowflower concept
Kapenaker Blooms is a Slowflower farm in Kapenaker, Wormeldange. The idea behind the Slowflower movement is to make the flower industry more regional, seasonal and sustainable, meaning that they sell flowers free of pesticides.
At Kapenaker Blooms, you can order a bouquet and pick it up at their collection point in Junglinster, but you can also take part in the workshops that they offer. Kapenaker Blooms is also available to book for events or celebrations, such as weddings for example.
Because there is only one person behind this initiative, you can volunteer to help cut flowers every Tuesday from 6 pm., for which you will be rewarded with some flowers yourself.
