vegetarian and social
The name of this cosy café speaks for itself: located in one of the most beautiful streets of the city of Esch, this place to be offers a warm ambience, where relaxing, whilst sipping a cold beer in the evening and enjoying a “tarte flambée” or a typical luxembourgish dish like “Kniddelen” (garnished with beacon unless you prefer the veggie style), is sheer pleasure. Board games and books are at your disposal to chill down and get fresh impetus. With rainbow flags on the walls, the interior is literally inviting ... in the full sense of the word, embracing and offering a safe space for the LGBTIQ+ community. The Escher Kafé also offers a bowling alley that you can book in advance. Furthermore, the owners of the café are engaged in the integration of hearing-impaired/deaf people and sometimes offer courses for sign language and distribute flyers with easy-to-learn signs. Occasionally, they will organize small concerts performing local, authentic musicians.
