Myriam Bouvy, owner of “de Kolibri” is not new on the business scene of Second-Hand books. She dared to open her own shop after the administrative unit (Gemeng) of Steesel was looking for a “tiers lieu”. A “tiers lieu” is somewhere you can meet new people. Therefore, diverse board games and an exhibition are open to public, as well as a variety of workshops are being organised there. Something very suitable to the social aspect is the Kolibri Coffee Shop, where you can find fair-trade organic coffee and cake and in the future vegan and gluten-free alternatives.

Of course “de Kolibri” has even more to offer. The goal of the shop is to enhance the visibility of Luxemburgish initiatives and artists. Thus, you can pass by the already mentioned second-hand books and food to a varied list of articles. From decoration out of flowers and glass, to material for starting Zero Waste habits and clothes as well as beauty products or jewlery.

Every item in “de Kolibri” is selected with the utmost care and very strict criteria, so that you can buy anything without worries.
