The name KAF LOKAL – SHOP LOCAL speaks for itself: the products on offer in this shop in Esch are definitely local! And the shop operator CIGL (Centre d’initiative et de gestion local) takes it very seriously, meaning that many ingredients of the typical luxembourgish dishes/products are grown in the nearby “Escher Geméisguart” (vegetable garden), a project that is also run by the latter.   
The shelves of KAF LOKAL contain items (like wine, gin, coffee, pasta and many more) that are locally produced by small luxembourgish firms, all in conformance with the common standards of sustainability.
